Choices for Change

Choices for Change is an outpatient drug and alcohol treatment program for women with additions.  The Choices for Change program works with women to explore options and choices in an accepting environment created through a trusting relationship with an addictions counselor. Women who are unable to attend a residential treatment program due to family or work commitments are able to receive comprehensive outpatient treatment that can accommodate their particular needs. Women can attend Choices for Change weekly for up to two years.

Choices for Change is funded by the United Way of Oakville.

Choices for Change offers:

• Free and confidential individual counselling and support

• Help to set goals, whether harm reduction or abstinence

• Assessments for admission to Hope Place Women’s Treatment Centre

• Referrals to other services in the community
