Hope Place

Our Approach

Hope Place Centres is an accredited provider of addiction treatment services through bed-based/live-in treatment and community-based programs.

Rooted in the 12-step modality and trauma-informed principles, Hope Place programming is holistic, inclusive and evidence-based. We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and interventions that provide psycho-education to equip individuals with effective strategies to enhance their overall well-being.

As research into addictions treatment evolves, so does our practice.

Our Mission

Hope Place Centres was created in 2004 as a result of the amalgamation of Hope Place Women’s Treatment Centre (founded in 1990) and Halton Recovery House (founded in 1975).

We were founded with a vision to be a leading provider of high-quality addiction treatment services. To do this, we operate in a way that is:

Your Privacy

We believe that every individual is the author and owner of their own recovery journey.

We create a sense of safety through transparency, ensuring clients are fully informed of their rights and choices throughout service delivery.

There is both inherent value and complexity when delivering service in a group setting. So we adhere to collaborative agreements that elevate participants' voices and strengthen alliances between clients and team members.
